I have a B.Eng. (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, A Master degree in Electromechanical Engineering, a P.G.C.E. (Post Graduate Certification of Education) in Design and Technology, and a Ph.D. in Microprocessor control (DC linear motors) (The University of Wales, Cardiff, UK).
I am Microsoft certified Professional (MCP). In 1985, I have designed the first Arabic / English Computer in the world with the help of the Welsh government in the UK. Also in 1993, I have written a translation system for the Welsh office to translate between Welsh and English. I am a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), and have obtained CCNA CISCO academy instructor. In March 2008 I have been certified as a WiMAX Forum RF Network Engineer.
I was a senior design engineer in Hytec Microsystems Ltd, based in Oxford and have been involved in the design of many electronic circuits and nearly 20 years of IT management and consultancy positions. I have joined the American University in Dubai (AUD), Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Since September 2005, as an assistant professor of Information Technology (Network and Database).
I am a freelance wireless consultant working with many companies around the world (UK, Iraq and UAE)
